The Faculty of Social Sciences of the largest Hungarian univeristy, Eötvös Loránd (ELTE) would like to build a CEEPUS Network and searching for partner-universities in Central and Southeastern-Europe. We would like to begin with the academic year of 2008/2009. The theme would be: European Policies, Integration in Central and Southeastern-Europe.
Within the framework of the programme, in the first year we plan to begin with a 'pilot programme' trying the process of the exchange of students and professors. From the second year, we think more actions are probable, e.g. summer universities and conferences.

So you want to study Hungarian? If so, you really should consider looking into the study abroad programs offered at the many universities and colleges in Hungary—a country that offers up the romantic dreams of Old Europe. The bucolic Hungarian countryside is dotted with Baroque villages, vineyards, mountain paths, thermal springs, and lakes. Don't worry, as are most European countries, Hungary is easily navigable by public transportation. In fact, with a welcoming population and endless cultural attractions, what you may find to be the most difficult will be navigation of the intricacies of the Hungarian language."
